Meanwhile, Delia reports the birth of Myne's baby brother and the new arrival at the orphanage to the high priest, but he is unimpressed by the information she has. While leaving, Gil reminds Myne about the writing board she'd promised to buy him, and she suggests having Johann make a stylus for him as well. While they are successful in creating colored ink, the methodology for what ingredients make what colors remains unknown to them. Myne, Lutz, and her retainers head to Heidi's workshop, where they blend a variety of ingredients in order to come up with different colors. Bierce's daughter Heidi jumps at the offer, as she and her husband Josef, who had previously created the ink for Myne's books, were also trying to create colored ink on their own. Myne offers her help in return for the Ink Guild's cooperation in creating colored inks. Benno refuses, since the job itself would be incredibly bothersome, but Bierce has few other options. However, Bierce feels that he is incapable of filling the role and hopes that Benno will take the role instead. Ferdinand suggests finding a wet nurse, especially since no one is able to provide milk, but since one cannot be hired immediately, Myne and her attendants decide to take turns watching over the baby. ![]() Later, while Myne is speaking with her attendants about Kamil, Wilma brings in an abandoned baby. Benno agrees with the head priest's caution, and the two decide to focus on making picture books instead, with Myne wishing to find a method of making colored ink. While talking with Benno about Corinna and Otto's new daughter Renate, Myne tells Benno that she is temporarily barred from printing books, for the time being, explaining Ferdinand's worries. In the meantime, Myne is still over the moon about the birth of her baby brother Kamil. In return, Bindewald offers the high priest payment in the form of a mysterious item. Bindewald in particular makes it known that he wishes to purchase Myne to the high priest Bezewanst. These conspirators include Viscount Gerlach, Schicicoza's mother, and a foreign noble named Count Bindewald. At the beginning of the episode, a group of nobles meet with the high priest and discuss their failed attempt to capture Myne during the Spring Prayer. ![]()
